Velvet work pants with knee reinforcements. Ulrich is a pair of hub pants made of ultra-strong velvet and indestructible Cordura nylon on the knees. The velvet is FHB's own "Trenker velvet", named after a German mountaineer who was known for climbing mountains wearing velvet. The fabric weighs 530 grams per square meter. In comparison, denim is called "heavy denim" when it's 340 grams per square meter, so Ulrich is extremely strong. For additional durability, the knees are reinforced with Cordura nylon. Cordura nylon is also used in military equipment and motorcycle suits. Like a pair of real naver pants, Ulrich has double brass zippers, wide belt loops and 6 practical pockets. The fit is regular.
