Cotton provides a comfortable softness, while polyester provides durability and washability. The fabric is heavy; as much as 530 grams per square meter. In comparison, a pair of regular jeans is around 340 grams per square meter. The thick fabric ensures sky-high durability, windproofness and good thermal insulation properties. The knees are particularly exposed during hard work, so the knees are reinforced with an extra layer of velvet fabric.
