Experience authentic style and exceptional quality with our Marine Sweater - also known as: Telnyashka or telnyashka. This sweater is designed to deliver maximum comfort and protection from the cold, inspired by traditional sailor undershirts. Characterized by its horizontal stripes, the sweater was historically used by military units, airborne troops, special forces and the navy. The original Telnyashka had blue and white stripes and was made of cotton to provide comfort and breathability to the sailors.
Several countries have traditionally used striped shirts as part of their naval and maritime uniforms.
- France
Marinière: The French Navy uses a striped shirt known as the "marinière" or "Breton shirt". It has white and blue stripes and is traditionally associated with French sailors and fishermen. The marinière has also become a fashion icon and is known as a classic part of French fashion. - Netherlands
Matrozenhemd: The Dutch Navy has also used striped shirts as part of their uniform, known as the "matrozenhemd". This shirt has similar functions to the Telnjaschka and Marinière and is often used by sailors. - Spain
Ropa de Rayas: The Spanish Navy has traditionally used striped shirts, known as "ropa de rayas", as part of their sailor uniform. These shirts have white and blue stripes and are still used in some parts of the Spanish Navy. - Italy
Maglia a Righe: The Italian Navy also has a tradition of using striped shirts, known as "maglia a righe". These shirts have blue and white stripes and are part of the classic maritime uniform in Italy.
Many other countries with maritime traditions have used or still use striped shirts as part of their sailor uniforms. These shirts are practical and stylish and often have a strong cultural and historical significance.
These striped shirts not only serve a practical purpose by being easy to identify from a distance, but they also have a strong symbolic meaning and have become a cultural icon in many countries.
Weighing a whopping 415 g/m², this sweater is not only a stylish choice, but also a practical and functional piece of clothing for harsh conditions.

How to Find the Right Size
Note: All measurements in the table are product measurements, not body measurements. If you have broader shoulders, a larger chest measurement, or generally prefer a looser fit, you may need to choose a larger size.
How to Measure Your Sweater:
- Lay a similar product flat on a smooth surface.
- Smooth out the product so it lies completely flat without wrinkles.
- Measure the chest width from armpit to armpit and double this number to get the chest measurement.
- Measure the back length from the top of the collar to the bottom of the sweater.
- Measure the collar from shoulder seam to shoulder seam.
- Measure the sleeve length from shoulder seam to sleeve edge.
- Compare your measurements with the table to find the appropriate size.
