Genuine parachute cord produced in the USA by a certified supplier to the US authorities. The cord itself has a core of seven loose nylon threads, which gives the line a high breaking strength. The core strands are white. The core is surrounded by a polyester sheath that protects the strands from abrasion from friction. The polyester tube is typically colored. Breaking strength is approx. 249kg. The width is 3mm. The cord can be melted at the ends to prevent the cord from unraveling. Suitable for hobby projects such as tying bracelets and the like.
