Construction and Materials

The combat shirt is designed for use under a vest and other load-bearing equipment, where ventilation, mobility, and durability are critical. It features a dual-zone construction: a breathable 60/40 cotton/polyester torso and more robust 55/45 cotton/polyester sleeves. This configuration reduces heat build-up under gear while ensuring the sleeves withstand repeated friction.

Ergonomics and Range of Motion

The sleeves are constructed with gusseted panels to increase range of motion in the shoulders and upper arms. This reduces fabric tension across the torso during overhead movement and ensures a stable fit under a plate carrier or chest rig.

Reinforcement and Abrasion Protection

The elbows feature anti-abrasion padding to protect against wear when in contact with rough surfaces, extending durability during repeated kneeling or prone positions.

The upper arms are equipped with secure zippered pockets for small essentials that must remain in place during movement.

Multiple hook-and-loop panels allow for attachment of patches and identification. An integrated glint/IR tape holder enables marking in relevant operational environments.

The collar is constructed as a mock turtleneck, reducing friction from straps and load-bearing equipment while allowing adjustable ventilation.
