Rothco Adjustable Lightweight Boonie with Mesh Khaki

The boonie hat is a lightweight and functional hat designed for outdoor use, where ventilation and sun protection are key considerations. The design is inspired by the classic military boonie and combines practical features with a simple construction.

The hat is made from lightweight polyester and features integrated mesh ventilation covering most of the crown. This construction promotes increased airflow and helps keep the head cool and dry during use. The fixed brim, measuring approximately 7.5 cm, provides protection for the face and head against direct sunlight.

The fit can be adjusted using an elastic cord with a button lock, allowing the circumference to be individually adjusted up to approximately 60 cm. The hat is also equipped with an adjustable chin strap and an internal sweatband for added comfort.
